We invite you to a unique opening of a photography exhibition dedicated to the Kołobrzeg Sea Rescue Station, which will take place on March 31 at 18:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse.
This is a story about the people of the sea – those who have been ensuring the safety of others for over seventy years. Amidst waves, wind, and storms, they bring help where every moment counts. Their courage, readiness, and daily service inspired this exhibition. Approximately 60 photographs will be presented, revealing the true nature of sea rescuers' work – moments of tension, the lull before action, the power of nature and humanity.
These images are full of emotion, light, and history captured in glances, gestures, and the element of the Baltic Sea. The photographs come from archives and private collections, creating a moving story of responsibility, sacrifice, and the extraordinary relationship between humanity and the sea.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from April 1st to May 31st, during lighthouse opening hours, and included in the price of the lighthouse admission ticket. We cordially invite you to experience this history with us – in a place that has for years guided those returning from the sea.
