A special event is taking place in Kołobrzeg on July 4: a meeting of the team responsible for implementing the Polish Capitals of Culture initiative.
Our city, which will proudly bear the title of Polish Capital of Culture 2028, is honored to host delegations from Lublin and Bielsko-Biała – a city that is also among the future hosts of this prestigious program.
The meeting is attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Marta Cienkowska, who, together with local government officials and representatives of cultural institutions, discusses the role of culture in building the identity of local communities, strengthening cooperation between cities, and preparations for implementing the program in a new, nationwide formula.
The meeting in Kołobrzeg is part of a series of dialogues between cities recognized as Polish Capitals of Culture. Its goal is to jointly develop best practices and strategies promoting culture as a key element of sustainable development.
