In the 2025 Polish Beaches Ranking published by Travelist.pl, Kołobrzeg took the honorable second place, moving up one spot compared to last year. This unique seaside city was appreciated not only for its charm and atmosphere, but also for its extensive recreational offer.
Kołobrzeg boasts beautiful beaches that have been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag. Tourists have the longest seaside promenade in Poland at their disposal here, the city also attracts with its beautiful old town, parks and a developed network of bicycle paths. What's more, Kołobrzeg won first place as the best beach for families with children, which confirms its friendly nature. It also took second place in the category of beaches for active people and third as the most lively beach. This makes Kołobrzeg an ideal combination of peace with diverse entertainment and sports energy. Although the title of Beach of the Year went to the unbeatable Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg is its most serious rival. Experts and thousands of Internet users have appreciated its versatility and high standard.
The ranking was announced on June 24 during a press breakfast in Warsaw and was accompanied by a discussion about the holiday preferences of Poles. Kołobrzeg, Świnoujście and Hel made it to the podium in the main category, and the full list can be found on the Travelist.pl website
The award was received in Warsaw by Marta Ostapiec, director of the Kołobrzeg Institute of Culture and Promotion.
It is worth noting that the ranking was also an opportunity for a photo contest, which emphasized the emotional connection of beachgoers with their favorite places on the Baltic Sea. Kołobrzeg deservedly found itself among those that Poles love the most.
