The main goal of the project is to develop the Kołobrzeg Mariana Trail as an innovative way to explore the city through a bilingual (Polish-German), interactive mobile app with a city game using QR technology. The Kołobrzeg Mariana Trail is a unique tourist attraction combining urban art, local history, and coastal nature.
The specific objectives of the project are:
- Integration of communities on both sides of the border.
- Increasing the attractiveness of city sightseeing by introducing city game elements in a bilingual (Polish-German) web application, which will enable an interactive and engaging form of exploration of Kołobrzeg.
- Facilitating access to information about the trail and its attractions through the use of modern technologies, such as QR codes and multimedia materials available in the web application.
- Monitoring tourist traffic and analyzing the popularity of individual trail points via the application.
- Education through play, combining local history, culture and nature in a way accessible to different age groups, which will allow for a better understanding of the heritage of Kołobrzeg.
- Increasing the involvement of residents and tourists.
- Promotion of innovative solutions in tourism.
- Strengthening social ties by integrating the local community and tourists around a shared exploration of the city in an attractive, interactive format.
- Development of the Kołobrzeg tourist brand through the unique concept of the "Marianów" trail, which will become a characteristic element of the city's promotion on the national and international arena.
The project will result in an increase in the tourist attractiveness of Kołobrzeg through a new interactive tourist and educational offer called "Kołobrzeg Marian Trail", enabling active exploration of the city using a web application and QR technology.
As part of the project:
- A web application will be created containing a city game, QR technology, information about the Mariana Islands, and an interactive map,
- There will be a competition for the design of a new Marian figurine,
- A promotional event will be organized.
