The program of the Kołobrzeg May Day Picnic on May 1–3 promises to be very diverse – from concerts and family events to patriotic celebrations.
The events will begin on May 1st in the courtyard of the town hall with a concert by the Cantores Colabregae choir to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union, followed by the European Family Picnic. In the evening, the outdoor stage of the Kołobrzeg Regional Cultural Center will host concerts by Maks Tachasiuk and Sars.
On May 2nd, Flag Day of the Republic of Poland, the official raising of the national flag will take place at the town hall, with the participation of the Guard of Honour of the 12th Logistics Regiment. Concerts are also planned for the day on the RCK's outdoor stage, featuring performances by the bands Przebiśniegi and Ofelia. Accompanying events include an open day at the marina organized by the Kołobrzeg Regatta Group, athletics competitions, and the national equestrian competition in Budzistowo.
On May 3rd, the anniversary of the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution, a Mass for the Homeland is planned, after which participants will march through the city streets to the monument to Marshal Józef Piłsudski for a patriotic gathering with the participation of the military. A May 3rd Picnic will be held at Pioneer Square, featuring performances by local bands, a display of military equipment, sporting activities, and traditional pea soup. The program also includes a patriotic sing-along during the "Witaj, Majowa Jutrzenko" concert, and an evening performance by Bovska.
