The Regional Cultural Centre in Kołobrzeg hosted the "Here is Poland. Here is the Sea" ceremony, organized as part of the commemoration of the annexation of the Western and Northern Territories to the Republic of Poland. The event was a solemn occasion, bringing together representatives of state and local government authorities, as well as guests participating in the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Kołobrzeg and Poland's Wedding to the Sea.

Speeches were delivered by Senate Speaker Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister – Member of the Council of Ministers and Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak, Mayor of Kołobrzeg Anna Mieczkowska, and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Marek Krawczyk. The ceremony also included thematic panel discussions on the history of the Western and Northern Territories, moderated by journalist and columnist Jacek Żakowski.

The ceremony featured a performance by the Szczecin Castle Opera Choir. The gathering provided an opportunity to highlight the significance of the Western and Northern Territories in the history of contemporary Poland and to reflect on the journey these regions have taken since the end of World War II to the present day.

Kołobrzeg once again became the venue for an important conversation about memory, identity, and responsibility for historical heritage. The event was held under the patronage of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland.
