For the first time in history, Kołobrzeg is hosting the Forum Around Cinema, which has been bringing together producers, cinema owners and film distributors for 56 years.
During the forum, trends in cinematography and new technologies in film production are discussed. Domestic experts and foreign distributors participate in panels and workshops, who together consider the most important challenges for the industry: legal changes, economic pressure and new viewing habits.
The focus will be on, among others, the amendment to the Cinematography Act, the media tax and the need for stable support for independent cinemas. The forum is not only debates and analyses, but above all a space for cooperation and building a common voice of the film industry. Because cinema is more than entertainment - it is people, relationships and values that are worth cultivating. That is why the meeting is taking place in Kołobrzeg - a place open to culture and dialogue, where cinema plays an important role in the life of local communities. The forum will last until June 12.
